Hallock Institute is a fully integrated auxiliary of the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, and as such, is treated as a tax-exempt non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, under the group tax exemption of the Domestic & Foreign Missionary Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America.
