This fanfare exists in two versions: one for 3 trumpets, horn, 2 trombones, organ, and timpani; the other for 2 trumpets, horn, 2 trombones, organ, and timpani. Both versions are included with purchase, with separate files for the sextet and quintet versions. Typically, this fanfare preceded the Easter hymn, Jesus Christ is risen today, but it can precede any festival hymn beginning in C or G major.
